For The Youth: Free Digital ICT Training

The Youth Banner in partnership with Intel Kenya are offering a FREE Digital Literacy Training to the youth at our fully equipped ICT training centre in Lavington, off Naivasha Road (next to Melchizedek Hospital).

Come learn the basics of ICT tailoured around the theme of entrepreneurship and employment and access a world of new opportunities.

Also get a chance to undergo an online jobs training after completion of the Digital Literacy Training and learn how make money online.

      This free program has ended, but we are currently recruiting for a class to begin once a minimum quorum is reached.

      The class will be active for 4 weeks, 3 hours a day, covering the following topics/modules:
      1. Introducing Computers and Operating Systems
      2. Introducing Internet and Email
      3. Introducing Word Processing
      4. Introducing Spreadsheets
      5. Introducing Multimedia
      6. Introduction to Entrepreneurship
      7. Money Management and Finances
      8. Marketing Plan
      9. Branding
      10. Marketing Material
      11. Online Marketing
      12. Collecting Feedback Online
      13. Developing a Product Portfolio
      14. Showcasing your work
      15. Internet Safety Guidelines

      Remember, this is a course that is meant to empower you to use the digital skills learnt to create an income for you and those around you.
